Also, as a citizen of a completely US controlled vassal state, at this point it’s my interests (and sure as shit most of the rest of the world) to see America fall apart as quickly as possible. I don’t want American comrades to have to suffer and find a way out, and would support any realistic goal to empower them, but the US liberal arguements are basically “No! You can’t wish for the death star to blow up, we’ll see a reduced effectiveness of Stormtrooper training programmes!”
