    Heres a little story I can now tell since the NDA i signed has expired now that this game was officially announced. Back in 2017 I managed to get an internship at Ubisoft in singapore for 3 weeks, that studio was basically in charge of skull and bones. Back then S&B was supposed to be a fun multiplayer only world of warships like game only with pirates, I played it a lot with the studio staff, and it was actually pretty hard, but a lot of fun too. I even did some voicelines along with other interns, and I got to make some textures for props. I do remember talking with the QA team and distinctly recall how tired and bored they seemed, which is understandable considering the game had been in development hell for years.

    They had a full, completed game in 2017. They couldve released it back then and i’m convinced people wouldve loved it. But nah, lets spend SEVEN YEARS turning it into… whatever the fuck this is supposed to be?
