I hate people that expect service workers, who are already rushed and underpaid, to dance like a trained monkey for them.
It’s absurd. Food workers provide a massive service to society and provide something that people actually want, unlike most bs office jobs.
It’s always funny when you’re a service worker and you know your livelihood can be at risk because someone decided that you didn’t give a five-star performance

I wish I was joking, but I used to work at PetSmart a long time ago. Someone called the store and I answered around Christmas. My manager told me that they complained that I didn’t sound ‘festive’ enough. I didn’t get written up or anything, but wtf.
