Someone on Hexbear dropped the line “History without materialism yields even less understanding than complete ignorance” and I’ve never forgotten it.

I think if you poll literal schoolchildren they’d be more informed.
They haven’t had the empathy beat out of them by society yet. So yeah, kids are probably better better than the average adult
