Very adaptable birds. The more we lose fish from our lakes and rivers (UK) the more the birds will adapt and take other sources. I’ve seen them eat rats as well. But they are wild birds and that’s thier diet. I’ve come to terms with that. Domestic animals (cats), I’m not so understanding of the bird deaths they are responsible for. And humans (foxes, pheasants, birds of prey…the list goes on). We are the worst danger to wildlife without question.
