Honestly I think you should just pre-emptively ban it. I mean, what are the actual benefits of letting threads users engage with us? All I see are downsides and risks, especially since Lemmy lacks actual moderation tools. Facebook is a cancer. Instagram is a cancer. Threads will be a cancer. I understand the wait and see approach but I just struggle to see literally drawbacks of just banning them proactively. What do you think?
