The good news is, the executive order, is specifically about development assistance. The vast, vast majority of US aid to Ukraine does not fall under this category.
Sec. 3. (a) 90-day pause in United States foreign development assistance…

Kicking Russia out of Ukraine:
Does it make America safer?
Yes because Russia will have learnt the hard way that invading other countries doesn’t result in less NATO on their borders and doesn’t increase their own security.
Does it make America stronger?
Yes because it strengthens your alliance with Europe, and increases NATO by another country with a recent battle tested and proven military.
Does it make America more prosperous?
Yes because there is a massive amount of rebuilding needing doing in Ukraine.
Of course Putin’s bumchum Trump might have a different take on all this, especially if he’s been staring too much into Putin’s palantir.
You can’t use reason with the Orange Idiot or his boot lickers. It never works.
You left off it let’s them use ukraine as a testing ground for new weapon systems, giving them wartime feedback, making them stronger.
That is dumb…
But predictable. Putin wants it, Putin gets it. He’s the boss.

Nothing a out what you said is correct.
Trump is undeniably in the pocket of Russian oligarchs and most likely Putin. Trump bends of for him every time Putin tells him too.

…but then how will you build more bombs to destroy the weapons factory???//

edit: the more I think of this post made in absolute facetiousness, the more I think it’s actually a heavily reductive view of how the world actually works 😢

Honestly amazing how you can flip from “saying half of all Americans are idiots is bigotry” to “Americans are genetically predisposed to misery and war” in a matter of hours depending on who agrees with you https://kbin.earth/m/[email protected]/t/847737/WTF/comment/4645563#entry-comment-4645563
If Russia wins, they will we see the mass murder from Bucha all over Ukraine. Since Russias war goal is to conquer all of Ukraine, we are going to see that on a much larger scale. For Ukraine that means defeat means death and fighting means probable death, but a chance of making it out alive. So Ukraine will fight to the end with or without aid.
Russia is only going to negotiate, if it believes that victory is impossible, so making a deal is cheaper then continueing the fight. That is obvious, as Russia started the war itself. That is why sending aid is a good idea. If Russia believes that conquering all of Ukraine is too expensive, a deal becomes cheaper then continueing the war.

Hi Prime Minister Chamberlain! It is a pleasure to have you so writing here.
And you see that „good faith“ on putins side?

ceasefire in this case absolutely hurts ukraine… russia has manufacturing capability and time allows them to replenish their supplies. time does nothing to help ukraine, unless their foreign allies are manufacturing arms for them in the same way russia will be
it’d be amazing to see an end to the war, but don’t kid yourself: a ceasefire gives russia an asymmetric advantage
Surely you understand the danger of escalating the conflict.
