• does it present immediate safety liability?

• are your repairs reactive, or proactive? Has the car being broken ever impacted your plans?
• is it cheap to fix, or is it expensive?

You’re confusing having more/less resources with having a better/worse life - under communism, nobody will have even a fraction of the personal property resources the average westoid, even the average poor westoid, has. Yet, they will still all have a dramatically better life than the average westoid. This is because communism’s quality of life foundation will be built on forming society to fulfill human needs like security and community through what it should have been fulfilled through to begin with - community-forward organization, collective care, and collective resource utilization.

Another thing to mention with this line of reasoning - westoids, particularly American westoids, have more material resources than any other -oids in the world, yet have a shockingly low quality of life to show for it. Turns out having your entire waking life wrung out for profit and marketization will do that to ya.

I think the west owes an unpayable debt to the global south and the only way the global south will be able to cash in on it is if they engage in the same colonial behavior that was done to them against the imperial core
