YouTube generally does that when I’m viewing embedded videos on a VPN. Works fine if you’re logged in and viewing videos on YouTube itself.
The magic smoke comes out so that you know its working. It’s a very human design.
11·1 day agoCurious about an edge case: what about photos of real shirts that have obvious AI content printed on them? My vote would still be to not allow it.
211·2 days agoThat there are ICE raids frequently carried out at Home Depots because the Trump-loving CEO invites them to the stores. Wouldn’t be all that surprising or change much even if it were true.
Edit: apparently i was thinking of the former CEO/founder. The current one seems to be against facism

9·2 days agoIt was so refreshing to have a clean install without bloatware or having to login to google services right off the bat. Especially after having a carrier locked phone
Looks interesting, but it’s the first time I’ve heard of them and I’m wary about the CEOs ties to palantir and the fact that its a US-based company. I’ll wait for others to do some deeper research into the company first.
