As I have said, Democrats will never be on our side. But do we really want to hand the power to Trump and the GOP so they can embolden the fascists and let them kill minorities on the streets? How many lives would have to be lost for us to really concede that Democrats in power will, at least, delay it for a little longer?
The left needs time to build up its movement, and we cannot risk having it crushed by the Trumpian fascists when it is still in its cradle.
