I’ve only seen that emoji used to make fun of liberalism, since the person in the emoji made a video advocating for that kind of liberalism. I haven’t seen that emoji used in the context of making fun of anyone’s appearance, and if I did see it I’d think it was sus.
Like, the reason we make fun of is because of the liberalism, not because of their appearance… right?
But I don’t think we do much better when it comes to judging people by their appearance, we got plenty of meme mocking CHUDs and pretty crackers for how their look.
That’s because there is a difference between mocking the appearance of CHUDs and petty crackers vs. mocking the appearance of random women we know nothing about.
(When I say appearance I am referring to fashion and style, not body characteristics which are ofc never okay to mock)
