Built a new computer last year and didn’t want anything to do with win11, so I switched to Linux Mint. I really like it, and there’s a lot of help all around online. Thankfully because of Proton, I haven’t had any trouble playing any game yet. It’s been great!

I do miss ClipStudio for painting and OneNote for ttrpg notes, but I’ve been making due with Krita and Notion.

I’m not super convinced it’s to eat around us with my boy, because he’ll do it in the middle of the night too. But he has to do it where there’s carpet. He’ll only eat if there’s carpet he can spit his food onto. Rugs under his food bowl don’t count lol

Honestly, just where I’m at in life. I’ve been pulling myself up by my bootstraps for all my life.

Grew up in bumfuck poorsville with abusive parents, joined the military, did some cool stuff, left and went to college, bought a house, graduated, sold the house, moved across country, got a job with my degree, and found a solid friendship group who encourage and care for me and vice versa.

This is all while suffering from an unseen disease that I was finally diagnosed with while in college and have been fighting against ever since.

I am proud of my achievements and I can really say to myself that I made it, despite everything, I made it.

My experience says no to this. Maybe usually, but I fell on my ass a few too many times and gave up trying to learn the rest.

As an 800 hour player that has to put the game down because of competitiveness making me a curmudgeon – Wow, gotta say. That’s so much work.

Did you use the practice modes to get to be that level or did it just come to you during play?

Hmmm, while I see your point on the phrase, my friend group and I only ever use it on subjective things. Like orange juice or chocolate milk being better, for example. If we’re both arguing (in a fun way) and have no good points to change the other’s mind, then we agree to disagree. Haha

I saw it was from scraps mostly, but how much would you estimate this to cost vs a store bought tree?

There’s probably a ton of decisions that I could change, but one of them would be not to join the military and to go to college instead for meteorology. I don’t know where I would be now, maybe in debt and stuck, or maybe really enjoying a career in a field I love. Regardless, it would be interesting.

Otherwise, to not accept the proposal from my then boyfriend. Had we broken up, I feel like I would have figured out my sexuality earlier and potentially been happier. But instead, I’m facing down a divorce and restarting my life all over.
