  • Built a new computer last year and didn’t want anything to do with win11, so I switched to Linux Mint. I really like it, and there’s a lot of help all around online. Thankfully because of Proton, I haven’t had any trouble playing any game yet. It’s been great!

I do miss ClipStudio for painting and OneNote for ttrpg notes, but I’ve been making due with Krita and Notion.

  • My dog does the same thing! I didn’t know that was a semi-common thing

I’m not super convinced it’s to eat around us with my boy, because he’ll do it in the middle of the night too. But he has to do it where there’s carpet. He’ll only eat if there’s carpet he can spit his food onto. Rugs under his food bowl don’t count lol

  • Honestly, just where I’m at in life. I’ve been pulling myself up by my bootstraps for all my life.

Grew up in bumfuck poorsville with abusive parents, joined the military, did some cool stuff, left and went to college, bought a house, graduated, sold the house, moved across country, got a job with my degree, and found a solid friendship group who encourage and care for me and vice versa.

This is all while suffering from an unseen disease that I was finally diagnosed with while in college and have been fighting against ever since.

I am proud of my achievements and I can really say to myself that I made it, despite everything, I made it.

  • Touching the Void

It’s a wild ride that showcases just how strong humans really are. Definitely worth a watch!

In 1985 two friends, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, set out to climb Siula Grande in Peru via the West Face, a hitherto unaccomplished feat by any climber. After a tough ascent they succeed but on the descent they run into significant problems. Soon they are both in dire danger and the chances of surviving are slim.
