Civ 5: 4,941 hours played
Me at 3am on a work day: “I don’t even like Civ that much, just one more turn and I’ll go to bed”
CIV isn’t even my favorite strategy game, but I could drop everything, sit down, and play a 4-6 hour session every day if I had the time.
to be fair, with games like that, most of your logged hours are gonna be you just leaving the computer on while you go and do other stuff in between turns
In between turns? That’s just turn 1!
This is the biggest reason I play Warhammer. I just like moving my little dolls around on a table.
Broke: “They’re not toys, they’re miniatures!”
Woke: “Yes, they’re just toy soldiers.”
Bespoke: “I just like moving my little dolls around a table.”
I remember telling a guy I know while he was playing warhammer ‘oh that’s like chess or something right?’
He was not a happy camper.
women are allowed to do it too
same brainspace as those stupid dress up flash games
well personally I just move a single soldier around a map (lordran)
I was gonna say im different but then i remembered my warcraft obsession back in the day so it tracks.
My father showed me these games as a kid, ive been playing map strategy games since 7, i have thousands of hours in them
I like Stellaris but I really can’t be bothered to play it; I keep fighting to stay ahead in research but always neglect my military. Also years of playing ‘last man standing’ type games means I disregard the diplomacy aspect, and relations between factions is a big factor in the game.
last time I played a vibeo bame was a month ago and it was minecraft. checkmate liberals.
One of these days I’ll actually play a game with my Malifaux pieces. They’ll likely start falling apart mid-game, damn little skinny Gremlins. Otherwise most map games just unintentionally guilt trip me as someone who’s really gotten rusty with ArcGIS.
this is a good litmus test, if people think this I know to never speak to them again
RIP news mega
how can you avoid them without using the map?!?! checkmate liberals
